IDC have been appointed to design the new phase of expansion of the Guru Nanak Secondary School in Hayes.

This £14.5m expansion from 4FE to 6 FE includes substantial internal alterations, the construction of a new 2 storey Learning Resources Centre and a new 3 storey teaching block.

Due to the compact nature of the site, the new accommodation is located in the heart of the school and has required a design that provides modern 21st century teaching accommodation but also maximises buildability along with a minimal impact on the day to day running of the school.
