IDC were appointed by the Stamford Endowed School following previous successful projects to design a new expanded Reception Block.

Working with the client IDC identified a site and developed the clients brief to design a new teaching block that minimised artificial lighting and ventilation and created a vibrant exciting space tailored to the pupil’s age range.

A division of service areas and served areas allows the teaching spaces to address the views out to the playing fields and allows the non teaching spaces to face onto the railway serving an acoustic buffer.
