Integrated Design Consultants worked with Langley Grammar School to obtain permission to sell 4 surplus acres of their existing playing field for housing to raise funds for new school buildings and improvements.

Working with the school Integrated Design Consultants calculated the amount of playing field required by the school (by improving existing land drainage and creating all weather sports area) and then obtained approval from the Secretary of State for Education for the sale of the resulting excess area playing field, which we had positioned on the boundary of a main town centre link road with good access to motorways and airports therefore increasing its market value.

Upon receipt of permission for the land sale, Integrated Design Consultants submitted and obtained outline planning permission for 81 dwellings on the proposed site.

Following receipt of planning permission the school completed the land sale which has enabled them to create new all weather pitches, teaching blocks, 4 badminton court sports hall and education building and the development of an all new contemporary sixth form centre.
